The annual Smart Prague Index maps the development of Smart City indicators in Prague and projects in the areas defined in the Smart Prague Concept 2030. This is what the authors of the GLOBAL REVIEW OF SMART CITY: GOVERNANCE PRACTICES, published by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, have noticed.
They particularly appreciated the fact that, based on a set of predefined indicators, Prague monitors and regularly evaluates the success of the implementation of Smart Prague projects, which are annually presented in the Smart Prague Index publication. According to them, this approach of Prague and its regular monitoring of indicators related to the implementation of Smart City elements could inspire other cities. The fact that the annual Smart Prague Index has been cited as an example in the UN publication means that the OICT Smart Prague team that prepares it is doing a good job comparable to the world's best.
