In mid-December, the OICT Smart Prague team met with students from the University of Texas of El Paso, who are currently attending the Master's double-degree program Smart City at the CTU in Prague, specifically at the Faculty of Transportation. Petr Suška, the Director of Smart City, Innovation and Project Management, together with his team, presented the scope of our company's activities and talked about the main projects that the Smart Prague project office is intensively working on.
Together with the students, Prof. M. Svítek, Vice Dean for Strategy and External Relations of the CTU Faculty of Science, and Prof. Eduardo Carrillo Zambrano from the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, Colombia, visited the OICT. All of them listened with interest to information about projects such as smart collection, mobile monitoring or intelligent traffic analysis. They were impressed by the intermodal route planner for its scope and complexity and also appreciated the Nakopni Prague Innovation Marathon that OICT organises for Prague to support people with good innovative ideas to improve life in Prague.
