The meeting of the Smart Prague Work Group took place on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, on the premises of Kavárna Na Boršově. It was attended by the teams from OICT Smart Prague, Golemio data platform and the International Cooperation and Projects Department, as well as representatives from Prague city companies and the Prague City Hall to exchange experiences gained during the last quarter and to inform each other during the networking.
The opening speeches were given by representatives of the Prague City Council - the new Councillor for IT, Smart Cities, Science, Research and Innovation, MSc Daniel Mazur, PhD, and David Procházka, Chairman of the Committee for IT, Smart Cities and eGovernment of the Prague City Assembly. Also, Petr Suška, Director of the Smart City and Innovation Department of the OICT, welcomed the guests.
Representatives of the OICT Smart Prague team presented the latest developments in Smart Prague projects, announced the start of preparations for the next edition of the Smart Prague Index and informed about the progress of this year's Prague Innovation Marathon – Nakopni Prahu 2023. Furthermore, they presented current challenges within the framework of international projects that city companies could participate in. The team of the OICT Golemio data platform introduced the work group to new developments in the field of data analytics. Representatives of city organizations and the municipality, who have been involved in projects with Smart City elements for a long time, provided an overview of current topics in their areas. An interesting discussion also arose about the increasingly popular GPT Chat and the use of artificial intelligence.
We thank all members of the Smart Prague Work Group for their participation and look forward to the upcoming meeting in June 2023.
