In mid-October, OICT CEO Tomáš Barczi and representatives of the OICT Smart Prague team visited the Electromobility Forum 2022 to learn about the presented innovations and meet with experts who have been working in the field of electromobility for a long time and thus have an overview of current trends.

The development of electromobility is a challenge that Prague must be prepared for to ensure the implementation of charging infrastructure on its territory. This is in line with the 2030 Charging Infrastructure Development Master Plan for the capital city of Prague, prepared by the OICT Smart Prague team. The team is continuing its work, currently focusing on the preparation of both an operational model and a service IT solution for the construction and operation of charging stations and related infrastructure for residents.

Prague's ambition is to provide public charging quickly, efficiently and in a user-friendly manner. OICT has thus been entrusted with the preparation of a city-wide concession for charging in the metropolitan area and will select a concessionaire to implement the charging infrastructure in Prague following a tender procedure.
