OICT organized the 28th meeting of the Smart Prague Work Group. The main objective of the activity is to bring together representatives of the city, universities and city companies to follow the news and discuss advances in smart solutions for the capital. The members of the group have been meeting on a regular quarterly basis since 2017. This time, they met at the premises of Letna's Café Lajka - on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
The work group is a key platform to establish cooperation and coordination of activities across Prague organisations. The news was presented by OICT's Smart City department, as well as International Projects, which summarised the current challenges in which city companies can get involved. The meeting also featured the traditional Tour de Table updates from the representatives of the city organisations and departments of the Prague City Hall.
This time, the group members discussed not only new developments in Smart City and innovation, but also data and the future direction of the Golemio data platform. A presentation on Prague data, its future and its meaningful use was prepared by the head of Golemio, Benedikt Kotmel (OICT). One of the topics of the 28th meeting was the use of artificial intelligence, its possible implementation in the authorities and an invitation to the AI Days from the organization prg.ai.
